I've come full circle and I'm back to a craft that I've always liked but now find I'm loving! My recent posts have all my crochet news on my knitting blog and while, I'm sure there's no law that says I can't, I figured it was about time to begin putting all crocheted content in it's very own space! After all, crocheting needs just as much expression as knitting and I feel a great deal of crochet expression coming on, let me tell you!
Here's the lap blanket I finished for my mother for Christmas. I used GGH Aspen which is a combo of 50% merino and 50% acrylic. It's a bulky yarn with alot of loft and warmth so I think she'll love it keeping her nice and toasty while she watches television or reads.
Also some Christmas ornaments I've been crocheting in between other WIP's (guilty as charged, with way too many other projects ongoing). I like trying different ornaments and even though there are some adorable knitted patterns, I seem to prefer crocheted miniatures. I'm looking for the whereabouts of the exact pattern for the 2 mini mittens in the picture attached with the white i-cord.Here's a close up pic of them on the left:If anyone knows where I can get this pattern I would appreciate a comment from you...so far no luck on locating it.
Do take care and go gently, dear readers, until we meet again.
